The visual display helps the user to determine tha maximum leak noise with even greater confidence. As the operator searches for a leak the Xmic records the minimum level of continous noise (i.e. the leak noise) transmitted at three second intervals. This enables the operator to graphically compare leak noise levels and therefore gain greater confidence in pinpointing and confirming the leak position.
The dynamic accoustic sensitivity meter shows the level of noise received and the easy-to-use filters are selected for bandpass, bandwidth or position on a sliding scale.
Xmic is supplied as standard with high quality handphones, wind-protected foot sensor, control unit, charger, interconnecting leads and manual. The operator can select hard case or soft satchel. The hand Held probe with rods (for soft ground and fitting sounding) is an option.
