Multilog SMS / GSM

prd1thMultiLog GSM is the most versatile telemetry logger for applications where Telephone lines are costly or prohibitive. It can be supplied with up to eight inputs for monitoring any combination of digital or analogue signals.

Each input has a primary recording channel and secondary "fast sampling" channel and can be supplied in portable mode or with a telemetry link.

MultiLog GSM is completely waterproof, submersible and battery powered and will require no maintenance for at least five years.

A cellular modem/ module fitted internally, offers full coverage with GSM cellular communications network providers worldwide.

Dual band (900MHz /1800MHz) for the UK and Europe and a single band (1900MHz) for the USA & Canada cellular modems/modules are available.

Telemetry applications in the middle of a field or lake/reservoir are simple to setup and operate.

Portable applications requiring periodic relocation can now have telemetry links to the office, without the need to have multiple telephone lines installed.

Typical Applications

District and Zone Monitoring
MultiLog GSM is ideal for monitoring flow, pressure and or water quality parameters to assess demand, leakage and conformance

Network Analysis Investigations
MultiLog GSM can perform dynamic flow & pressure analysis of network models together with the facility to investigate unusual events with "fast sampling".

Key Account Customers
MultiLog GSM confirms levels of service and enables extra data to be provided to key customers, even in real time using telemetry links.

Advanced Design

  • MultiLog GSM can be supplied with up to eight inputs of any type. Each input is logged in two channels; a primary channel and a secondary channel. Both channels can be programmed independently
  • This enables, for example, the primary channel to be used for normal recording and reporting purposes while the secondary channel is used diagnostic purposes.
  • Alternatively, the secondary channel can be used to measure the time interval between flow meter pulses. This enables flow data to be interpolated to fixed time intervals and therefore 'smoothed' for analysis.
